James Purdey 12 gauge Over Under with 28" solid rib barrels choked 1/2 & 1/2. Straight grip stock. 14 1/2" LOP. Purdey single trigger. Massive action with several locking points. This is an example of the Purdey O/U that was built in the 1920's on Purdey's own design, not the Woodward design. According to information available, this is 1 of about 20 guns built of this design. The famous Harry Lawrence, master gunsmith and later director of Purdey's, is said to have built these guns. Gun exhibits superb workmanship.
